Using what we learned

Hi all,

We have set up our blogs now.  We saw 2 examples of how 2 of our colleagues use their blogs in class.  Is anyone else going to try to set up a blog for their students?  Any ideas how we could use a blog for our students?

Here are a few thoughts.

    Maybe one of my classes can connect with another IB PYP School and have a blog as a way of following each school.

      Sounds good Simone. Maybe you can link with Rachel at Sir John A Cumber for an initial link and then establish links with schools elsewhere also.

    I think I would use the blogger as a medium for creative writing. They could publish writing pieces and comment constructively on each others writing.

    Both SJACPS & GTPS have blogs which the Year 5 & Year 6 students are using. At the moment it is mostly used as a "news" forum to encourage students to talk about things that are going on in the school.

      That's good stuff Rachel. Simone at RBPS was saying that she would like to link with an IB school. Would you be interested in having a collaborative blog with her?
